The TECHNOLOGY MANAGEMENT DIVISION (TMD) was acquired by Schafer Corporation in 1998. The antecedents of TMD have been in the Scientific Engineering Technical Assistance (SETA) business since 1985; that is all we do. TMD specializes in SETA support services for advanced technology agencies within the Federal Government.

Our biggest client in 1985 was DARPA, the world famous Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency; DARPA remains our largest client today. However, our list of clients has expanded to include National Reconnaissance Office (NRO), the Office of Naval Research (ONR), Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Assistant Secretary of the Army Acquisition, Logistics and Technology, Naval Sea Systems Command, National Institute of Standards and Technology, and the Missile Defense Agency (MDA).

TMD is the largest and fastest growing division of the four Schafer divisions. Our revenue has exploded 400% since 1998 but our culture has remained basically the same: a total focus on our clients.
